A child prodigy, Paul Posnak received a full scholarship to the Julliard School of Music when he was only eight years old. He subsequently earned Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degrees, and was awarded the Loeb Prize (Juilliard's highest award). In addition, he won First Prize awards in both the International J.S. Bach Competition and the Concert Artists Guild Competition in New York, resulting in a performance at the White House and national recognition. Dr. Posnak's distinguished career as both a classical artist and jazz pianist has brought him international recognition, while his CD recordings for EMI Classics, Naxos, Arabesque, Stradivari Classics and the Yamaha Disklavier have drawn universal praise. He has entertained audiences on four continents, and millions more have heard him on such popular radio programs as National Public Radio's "Performance Today", London's "Platform Live" and in live broadcasts on major stations throughout the U.S. He is presently involved in a multi-CD recording project of American music for Naxos.

When he is not performing or recording, Dr. Posnak serves as Professor of Music and Director of the Accompanying/ Chamber Music Program at the University of Miami School of Music. He is co-founder and co-director of the University of Miami's summer program of music study and performance in Salzburg, Austria, and is in great demand as a teacher and clinician throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
