The South Florida classical music community, a special group, includes an enthusiastic and loyal audience of concert attendees. Since February 2003 what started out as a simple e-mail reminder service for the Alhambra Orchestra, has rapidly grown into Classical Connections, a multi-client concert reminder service with an expanding 'shared' audience database of over 5000 individuals. This high quality e-mail database list is comprised of musicians and actual concert attendees and series subscribers. Our Presenter clients are serviced by the delivery of a simple and attractive e-mail 'reminder postcard' to the audience database during the week preceding a concert. The 'Postcard' provides a link to the Classical-Connections website should the recipient desire additional information about the program and the performing artists. Full service clients may add a link to their own website.

To participate a Presenter must in good faith contribute an audience e-mail list (minimum 200 addresses). The database is designed for optimum control and for privacy of the combined list and its subgroups. This 'blind' list is only 'shared' to the extent of the e-mailed 'postcard/reminder'. In the event of a conflict of date we have assured our Presenters that we will never transmit a competing reminder to an individual who only appears in the subgroup provided by that Presenter. However as we add new lists it has become abundantly clear that no Presenter truly owns his audience but that a great many of our avid concert goers have already been added to the database on earlier lists. (Although an individual's name resides in multiple subgroups at transmission that individual should only receive one e-mail.) Individual names will never be published and the e-mail list will never be sold or exchanged. Other services such as transmission of notices, newsletters, invitation to fundraisers etc. are only available to each Presenter for transmission to his own contributed subgroup of individuals. 

Fees for the 'postcard/website' combo are based on a per concert charge or a per series contract price. Audience receipt of e-mail is free. Additionally, we have added a permanent list of our full package presenters to our Classical-Connections website. These can be linked to your existing website in exchange for a Classical-Connections link on your site. We look forward to hearing from you.
