2016 Grammy nominee JOSE SEREBRIER - today's most frequently recorded conductor and composer -
conducts the GREATER MIAMI YOUTH SYMPHONY with director/violinist HUIFANG CHEN. The program includes the Carmen Symphony (Bizet/Serebrier), and composers MARC SATTERWHITE and CLARK MCALLISTER conducting WORLD PREMIERES of their own compositions. Maestro Serebrier conducts the WORLD PREMIERE of his own "Laments and Hallelujahs", commissioned by Saint Martha Concerts as the fourth MARTHA/MARY MEDITATION - focusing on the resurrection of their brother Lazarus. Both the music and the message will inspire.
